How this content is checked
For new or changed student-facing exam content, the required process has separate authorship, subject-check and review stages. Some older resources predate the current gates; reports and corrections keep those resources open to review. No reviewer names or credentials are implied here.
1. Author
An author prepares the resource and maps exam content to the named qualification and specification points.
2. Independent subject check
A checker who did not author the answers tests the content against the official specification and relevant mark schemes. Answers are recomputed rather than accepted from the draft.
3. Fresh review
A fresh code reviewer checks the public or student-facing implementation as a separate gate from the builder.
4. Repair and recheck
If a gate finds a problem, the change is corrected and checked again. An unresolved finding is not treated as a pass.
Corrections stay visible
Material corrections are dated and explained. A report identifies content for review; it does not edit or withdraw the item automatically.
